Claw-Guard Pro's herringbone weave interlocks threads in a diagonal pattern that doesn't have the same single-thread vulnerability. When a claw catches the surface, it slides along the interlocked weave rather than separating individual threads. Combined with high-tenacity yarns, this dramatically reduces snag damage.
Will these work for both cats that scratch and cats that climb?

Claw-Guard Pro is primarily designed to resist snag damage from scratching and incidental claw contact. For cats that actively climb the curtain fabric, no fabric will be completely immune to damage over time — though Claw-Guard Pro will significantly outlast standard sheers in this scenario. For heavy climbers, we recommend pairing with a sturdy rod and ensuring the curtain falls freely without pooling on the floor, which tends to attract climbing behavior.
Are these safe if my cat chews on the fabric?

Claw-Guard Pro uses no chemical coatings, no toxic dyes, and no harmful treatments. The fabric is 100% polyester without any finishes that would be dangerous if a cat contacts or mouths the fabric. That said, we always encourage discouraging chewing behavior in cats as a general practice.
